Government Raises Petrol and Diesel Prices The government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs12.90 and Rs3.72 per litre, respectively, following changes in international oil prices. Under the revised rates, petrol will now cost Rs358.77 per litre , while high-speed diesel will be priced at Rs381.77 per litre . The new prices will take effect from September 8 .
